This is the first full-length release for this Australian one-man-project after the debut 7" released last year, in 2009. It includes five long instrumental tracks, one hour, of droning ambient & experimental music, in the way of THE BEST recordings of THE HAFLER TRIO, for instance. Dark atmospheric soundscapes slowly evolving, many loops, some hypnotick beats, some acoustic sounds (processed gongs) some sampled-voices (on one track) are mixed together to create catching atmospheres. A brillant release from the ADEPTSOUND label manager. According to this last one, Tim BAYES, ""Breaking Down Into His Own Oblivion" is a reflection on life, decay, murder & death. A hospice for like-minded souls. The all seeing ear, it is made to be that way. A momentary glimpse of us and we are gone..." Each copy individually made with full colour postcard, two inserts, inside a white cardboard cover, in a limited edition of 50.
