Recorded between 2002 and 2008, "Avatars of rape and rage" is the first album of KÖRPERWELTEN, a collaborative project between Swedish act NORDVARGR and U.S. musician LEECH, a.k.a. NAVICON TORTURE TECHNOLOGIES. Dark atmospheric soundscapes, buzzing black drones, grinding distortion, some pounding rhythms, some sampled-voices - on two tracks - and some heavy processed vocals parts - on two tracks - by LEECH, are the main elements of "Avatars....". A well-crafted & very nice album of Death-industrial with some P.E. parts, not as noisy as you might expect from these two acts. In 3 panel digipack, artwork by Jonathan CANADY. 6 tracks/Total length: 40 mns.
