KRISTOFFER NYSTRÖM ORKESTER is a collaborative project between Peter NYSTRÖM aka MEGAPTERA & NEGRU VODA and Kristoffer OUSTAD/V:28. Being fans of improvised analog music, they programmed the drummachine, added analog synthsounds and processed guitar sounds to the rhythms and let it rip, doing very little overdubs. The result of these sessions are these four tracks/38 minutes found here on this "Brakehead"… And what a result! A perfectly well-structured album full of abrasive sounds, powerful rhythms and sampled-voices in the typical Scandinavian style, a symphony of clangerous and distressed beauty.
