"Fleisch und Metall" -Meat and Metal- is a conceptual album, a soundtrack for an actionistic performance, done by the French industrial act NOCTURNE. The performance took place in an old , abandonned factory and the 20-page booklet shows impressions of this event, as well as several fotos of industrial places. Using field-recordings of electric saws, metal-hammerings, machine sounds, sometimes processed through effects, sometimes rough, mixing them with analogue elecronics and processed French voices, NOCTURNE created here a pure "industrial" soundtrack as an homage to factory work. His best album to date, completely different from his previous ones. Includes an additional 11 mn video track. 9 tracks/Total length: 60 22).
