"Evolution contains elements of music I have recorded over the last ten years as well as completely new material" as NORDVARGR said it himself. It shows the most ambient side of this famous Swedish one-man-project. Disc 1 includes ultra Dark atmospheric soundscapes with some like-metal reverbered sounds while Disc 2 offers a more "abstract" side of his compositions, sure still dark and oppressive, but with a more "modern" touch, not so far away from Asmus TIETCHENS' works. Whatever the style is, "Evolution" is one of the most accomplished album of the band and, to my point-of-view, one of the best, if not the best. Housed in a nicely designed digipack. 20 tracks / total length: 100 mns.
